Winter Wolves of Yellowstone Expeditions
Winter Wolves of Yellowstone four-day tours are the premier wolf viewing trips of the Rockies and Yellowstone's famous Lamar Valley. No other expedition offers the opportunity to see more of Yellowstone's large mammals and the natural wonders of the region. Led by an engaging biologist, you are immersed not only in the highest concentration of wildlife in the lower 48 states, but in the astounding landscape they inhabit.

Teton Science Schools' Wildlife Expeditions presents wildlife education at its best. Our trips are designed to maximize your wildlife experiences while minimizing environmental impact. Our small groups travel in customized safari-style vehicles. We stay in hotels and enjoy restaurant dining, ensuring a fun and rewarding fresh-air vacation.

Groups Size
There is a maximum of seven participants per biologist. Minimum number of participants per expedition is four. Flexible dates available for groups of four or more.

Cost
Starting at $1,795 per adult and $995 per child, based on double occupancy; the single supplement fee is $220. A deposit of 50% per person is required. Cost includes round-trip transportation from Bozeman, Montana, in a customized safari-style vehicle, a biologist, hotel accommodations for four nights, use of optics, specified meals, snacks and beverages and park entrance fees. Our hotels feature comfortable rooms with two double beds and a private bath. Due to limited rooms, single occupancy may not be available on every trip date.

Wildlife, Art and Sleigh Expedition: 8 Hours
This unique expedition combines a number of not-to-be-missed local activities into a very full day! We start by exploring numerous wildlife viewing opportunities surrounding Grand Teton National Park and Bridger-Teton National Forest with an experienced Wildlife Expeditions biologist. Our biologists use their knowledge and skills to help locate elk, deer, moose, bighorn sheep, bison, coyotes and trumpeter swans for your viewing pleasure. For lunch, we visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art and its Rising Sage Café, which overlooks the 20,000-acre National Elk Refuge. After touring the Museum's galleries of fine paintings, sculptures and photography devoted to wildlife, we end the day with a horse drawn sleigh ride and journey amongst the 7000 -10,000 elk that typically winter on the Refuge.

Wildlife Discovery Expeditions - The West's Best Wildlife Day
The full-day Wildlife Discovery Expedition offers numerous opportunities to view and learn about wildlife. For many participants, this is the highlight of their vacation in Jackson Hole. Our biologists know the best areas for viewing wildlife and can answer your questions about wildlife, geology and local history. Our comfortable, customized, safari-style vehicles have retractable roof hatches and sliding windows that allow for easy wildlife observation.

The day begins with an early morning drive through spectacular Grand Teton National Park and surrounding Bridger-Teton National Forest, providing a chance to view wildlife in the quiet dawn hours. Following our morning excursion, we have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we continue our search for wildlife and enjoy a short walk or snowshoe. We return late in the afternoon, completing an exciting day of observing and learning about this magnificent ecosystem.

To protect the environment, vehicle travel is restricted to established roads. Roads range from paved highways to secondary dirt roads. The guide will choose the route based on group interest and recent wildlife sightings.

Sunrise & Sunset Expeditions -A Glimpse of Western Wildlife
Both Sunrise and Sunset tours offer a four-hour introduction to the wildlife of the Greater Yellowstone Geo-ecosystem, taking advantage of times of day when animals are the most active. Expedition leaders know the best wildlife viewing spots, understand animal behavior and teach you how to find and observe wildlife on your own - without disturbing the animals or endangering yourself. Participants typically see a variety of species of birds and animals, including Jackson Hole's large-hoofed mammals. Our customized, safari-style vehicles are equipped with retractable roof hatches and sliding windows to maximize observation opportunities.
