An engaging expert biologist/guide drives participants in a comfortable, custom-built safari-style vehicle equipped with sliding roof hatches and windows that maximize observation opportunities. Expedition leaders understand animal behavior, know the best wildlife viewing spots and teach guests how to find and observe wildlife—without disturbing the animals or endangering themselves. Participants typically see a variety of species of birds and animals, including the area’s large-hoofed mammals. Half-day expedition rates start at $115 per person and full-day Wildlife Discovery rates start at $165 per person. Discounts may apply to groups of 12 or more. Who says corporate retreats have to be boring and predictable? For a departure from the mundane, Wildlife Expeditions offers group trips through Grand Teton National Park that will have even the most buttoned-up employees bonding over new sights and experiences as they explore the area’s varied wildlife habitats and beautiful mountain scenery.
Sunrise and afternoon expeditions provide a four-hour introduction to the wildlife of the Greater Yellowstone Geo-ecosystem, taking advantage of the times of day when animals are the most active. The full-day Wildlife Discovery Expedition offers a more in-depth exploration of the area, beginning with an early morning drive through spectacular Grand Teton National Park and surrounding Bridger-Teton National Forest land. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, groups continue the search for wildlife and enjoy a short walk or snowshoe, returning late in the afternoon.
